We are excited to announce an opportunity for a group tour of Disaster City in College Station on Thursday, September 24th, 2026 at 12:00 PM!
This tour is offered and guided by Scott Salter, Rescue Program Director with the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and the Emergency Services Training Institute (ESTI).
This is a unique chance to visit the renowned Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) facilities, with a walking tour of Disaster City and a guided tour of the training field, which includes stops at the Emergency Operations Center and the fire training props.
RSVP Required:
Due to space limitations, we can accommodate only the first ~15 respondents for the tour. Please RSVP by COB Wednesday, September 9th, 2026.

College Station, TX 77845 - Transportation: Each participant is responsible for their own transportation to the facility.
- Parking: Ample parking is available on site and no parking permit is required.
- Lunch will not be provided during the tour. Please plan to have lunch before or after the event.
- Non-U.S. Citizens: If you are not a U.S. citizen, background check paperwork is required ahead of time.
