Welcome to the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) South Texas Section web site. ITE is a community of transportation professionals acting as a source of expertise, knowledge and ideas. The South Texas ITE Section (STITE) is a part of the Texas District (TexITE) and includes the area between Del Rio, San Antonio, Victoria and the Rio Grande Valley. We welcome you to attend our events and become a Section member. Membership with International ITE is encouraged but not required.

1st Annual Regional Conference in Corpus Christi
We are excited to announce the 1st Annual Regional Confernce to be held in Corpus Christi, Texas on Friday, September 17, 2010. The Conference Committee put together a great meeting agenda which includes multiple speakers, an ethics presentation, vendor exhibits and social gathering. On Saturday, September 18th, the South Texas Section will host its 1st Annual STITE Fishing Tournament. Detailed information includng discount hotel accomodations are provided in the flyer below.

The cost of the meeting is $30 for members, nonmembers and students and includes lunch, snacks, dinner and entry to the fishing tournament - great deal!!
