Welcome to ITE's District 9 Greater Fort Worth Section Website! The Greater Fort Worth Section is the local form of the Texas District (TexITE) of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).

The Section typically meets on the third Thursday of each month at Joe T. Garcia's in Fort Worth for a noon-hour meeting providing a buffet-style lunch, conversation, networking, and a technical presentation. Speakers at our meetings come from a wide range of entities including governmental (state/municipal), academics/research, and consultants, to name a few (check our calendar link for past and upcoming speakers/topics). joint meeting with the Dallas Section of TexITE each year.

We have several committees: the Membership Committee, the Adopt-a-Highway Committee, and the Engineering Outreach Committee. Volunteers are always welcome in these committees.
